“You can tell its good, you can nod your head to it!”

That’s how Julian would describe his approach to enjoying music. Hypnotic grooves.

Growing up in Washington DC, Julian got his first hands on experience playing a musical instrument at the early age of 8. His aunt, who was 6 years older than him, was already playing with the school orchestra. Enticed by playing music, he decided to start playing cello at that point. Around the age of 15, two guys approached him in the school courtyard. They needed a bass player for their band and asked him to play since they thought that a cello was the same as a bass.

During the years that followed, Julian began his multi instrumental journey. He started learning how to play, the bass, drums, guitars, mandolins, banjo and any other string instrument he could get his hands on. At an early age he was exposed to classical music from orchestra, rock music from his high school band, jazz band in the school band and soul/funk/disco music from his mom. This combination enabled him to intemperate his music ideas into a blended harmony of sound.

Back from a recent tour in China, Julian has been bringing his taste in chill out dubstep to audiences worldwide. Julian’s music delighted audiences with his groovy use of world rhythms with western musical thoughts to brings a new spin on feel good music.
