Songs from Vellochord have been called “Vangelis in Africa”. Vellochord is comprised of musical producers, DF Tram and jujubaba. Together they create mind-twisting soundscapes that comment on social issues set to textured chillout beats. Vellochord released their debut ep titled “Sideways Garden” in June of 2019. 

In a collaboration with international artist Coppé, the “Radiation” track shows the groups ability to express their concern audibly about the current state of the world through textured tones. The almost haunting feel of uncertainty is clearly expressed about the environmental disaster in Fukushima. Somewhere between the sample laden chillout of Lemon Jelly, and the dreamy ambient sounds of the Irresistible Force lies San Francisco’s Vellochord, and their new album "Sideways Garden".  

Recorded and mixed at Ambisonic Studios in San Francisco, CA from mid 2017 till early 2018. Mastered at Morris Sound in San Pedro, CA in 2018.

Vellochord is finalizing their next album titled “NextBus” slated for release later this year. Coppé will continue to collaboarate with the duo on a new track titled “Mecca”.
